Community Guidelines

CoffeeChat is built for ambitious students moving across high-signal opportunity surfaces. To keep the signal-to-noise ratio elite, we strictly enforce these guidelines.

1. The Golden Rule: High Signal Only

This is not a general social network. Posts should be actionable, insightful, and relevant to student networking, career navigation, research, and startups. Low-effort posts, spam, or irrelevant content will be removed.

2. Professional Conduct

Treat peers with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and defamation have absolutely zero tolerance on CoffeeChat.

• Do not target, harass, or demean other users.
• If you disagree with a networking approach, attack the idea, not the person.

3. Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines or the Terms of Service, report it to our moderation team at support@joincoffeechat.ca. We review every report and take decisive action. As community features expand, in-app blocking and reporting tools will ship alongside them.

4. Enforcement and Discretion

As outlined in our Terms of Service, Nest Digital Solutions Inc. reserves the absolute right to moderate this platform.

• We do not owe anyone a platform. We will ban users, delete posts, and wipe data without warning if we determine the network's integrity is at risk.
• All enforcement decisions are final.
